GOD'S PERSON - GOD'S PROCESS

I often say: God's person - God's process

Jeremiah 18:4   “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.”

Isaiah 46:9  “Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me”

God knows your past, present and future  He wants you to walk worthy of your calling. Realize that the real you makes a demand on the “you” that you were.

God is desires to shape us as seems best to Him.

God says He is the potter and you are the clay.  He would like to shape you as seems best to Him.  Life coaching is pretty popular right now. God is the original life coach. To shape somebody means to sculpt and mold him or her.  He shapes as seems best not to you, your mom, or your spouse, but as seems best to Him. This, by the way, is always the best for you! There is nothing more pure than the love of God whose purpose is always life and life abundantly for you.  Trust me you want to be shaped as seems best God.

God has a plan for you. You are a powerful, Godly weapon here on the earth that is constantly being shaped and sharpened through the Holy Spirit. Just remember -  if He called you to it, He will get you through it. Trust, submit, and run with joy!  The only place Jesus has ever abandoned is an empty grave.

King David wasn’t obsessed with being discovered, he was obsessed with being developed.

David didn’t play the “anointing card” getting himself out of the opportunity before him. The only reason David had the opportunity to kill Goliath was because he took a small opportunity to bring food to his brothers. David wasn’t just willing to pray for opportunity but to embrace opportunity.

The anointing does not allow you to short cut the process. If you feel you are stuck in a difficult job or circumstance, just remember what was required of David! He was instructed to cut off and gather 100 Philistine foreskins! He didn’t question, or give excuses. David returned with 200 foreskins instead of 100. That’s a serious case of embracing the process!

Jesus embraced the process. For 30 years nobody knew Him.   He had three years of public ministry that was filled with critics and haters.  He didn’t just come to die, otherwise that would have happened sooner. He also came to live and to show us kingdom living. He embraced the process.

God did not deliver Jesus from His circumstances; He delivered Jesus through His circumstances, and He will deliver you through your circumstances.

 Luke 6: 47  “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. 49 But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

 Our obedience to the Word demonstrates that we have truly heard.
